Flagship was established from first-hand experience of operating across elite sport, Premier League football and international multi-club organisations.

 

Led by Matthew Rea, Flagship draws on leadership experience across UK Sport, the English Institute of Sport, and most recently City Football Group, alongside earlier experience at Brentford FC and six years playing experience in Manchester United's academy. His work spans football advisory, football operations, organisational design, governance, multi-club strategy, leadership and performance systems, supporting football organisations to strengthen alignment, improve decision-making and translate ambition into long-term football performance.

Most recently, as Director of Global Football Services at City Football Group, Matthew led the design, implementation and operation of the Global Football Operating  and Services Model, alongside its elite football partnerships. Those experiences shaped the development of the Flagship Integrated Football System - a philosophy and approach that helps football organisations align leadership, football expertise and organisational capability to deliver sustainable performance.

 

Today, Flagship partners with ownership groups, investors, clubs, multi-club organisations and governing bodies seeking an experienced strategic partner to build integrated football organisations capable of delivering sustainable success.
